HOW DO I USE AND CARE FOR THIS ITEM?
Handle with dry, clean hands. Your plant hanger come with removable solid brass hardware, which allows you to remove the straps for easy potting-up and/or cleaning. Unscrew the brass bowls to remove your straps, pot up your plant, clean up, re-attach, and hang! We recommend a layer of rocks in the bottom of the pot, for drainage, or simply place your plant in a plastic pot with holes in the bottom, and then place inside the bowl. Planter (without straps) can be cleaned by hand or in a dishwasher. Dry before reattaching the straps.
HOW WAS THIS ITEM MADE?
We slip cast each of these in porcelain, glazing the inside and leaving the outside unglazed, though the outside has a wee bit of shine from the inside glaze that makes its way through the clay body. The surface is super smooth, without a gritty sandy feeling.. The straps are hand cut from leather and attached to the planter with solid brass screw posts. Made by us in our studio, located on the traditional territory of the Anishinabewaki ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᐗᑭ and Omàmìwininìwag (Algonquin).
