ABOUT OUR CHOPSTICKS

Measuring approximately 10.25", these chopsticks balance the longer Chinese form with the shorter Japanese style. Hand-shaped tips range from 1/16" to 1/8" and are gently rounded.

Crafted from hard maple—a dense, tight-grained hardwood prized for fine kitchenware—they are naturally flavour-neutral and resist heat transfer.

HOW THEY’RE MADE

We start with raw maple lumber and keep each pair together from the very beginning, so both chopsticks come from the same piece of wood.

They’re slowly shaped through careful sanding, with the grain raised just before the final pass to create a smooth, tactile finish.

Some pairs are hand-coloured using our own blends of food-safe, zero-VOC waxes. Others are wood-burned by hand, one at a time. Each pair is sealed with two coats of Osmo hardwax oil for lasting protection.

Made in our woodshop on the traditional territory of the Anishinabewaki (ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᐗᑭ) and Omàmìwininìwag (Algonquin) peoples.

CARE

Hand wash and dry after use. Avoid soaking or dishwashers, as moisture can raise the grain.
